Welcome to the Technology, Innovation & the Future of the Creative Curriculum Conference 2026.

This one-day conference brings together intersectional fields of HE education with the aim to explore new perspectives to questions of power, effect, and the infrastructures of the HE creative curriculum.


Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming creative education. From generative tools in music and performance to curriculum design and assessment, AI offers both opportunities and challenges. The conference presents a range of speakers, from educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore how AI is reshaping the higher education creative curriculum across disciplines. 

Keynote speakers and panellists include Liverpool Metro Mayor, Steve Rotheram, Anneliese Midgley MP, Professor Sabine Jacques (Music Futures, University of Liverpool), Kevin McManus (UNESCO City of Music, Culture Liverpool) and Keith Mullin (LIPA).
